Reconnect with the African Diaspora Through Community, Culture & Connection

For five unforgettable days, experience Medellín alongside Afro-Colombian community leaders, artists, educators, entrepreneurs, and changemakers.

This is not a sightseeing tour.

It's an invitation to build genuine relationships, celebrate Black culture, and experience Colombia through the people who call it home.

✔ Only 15 travelers

✔ Community-led experiences

✔ Afro-Colombian-owned businesses

✔ Small group experience

Why This Experience?

Day 7-16 (1).jpg

Afro Medellín was created for Black travelers who want more than a vacation.

It was designed for those seeking meaningful connections with the global African diaspora through shared meals, honest conversations, and experiences rooted in community rather than tourism.

Every activity is developed alongside Afro-Colombian organizations and local partners who generously share their stories, perspectives, and culture.

Instead of checking destinations off a list, you'll spend five days building relationships that continue long after the journey ends.

What You'll Experience

  • Celebrate at the Black Joy Parade alongside hundreds of Afro-Colombians.

  • Learn traditional recipes during an Afro-Colombian cooking experience.

  • Meet community leaders creating change throughout Medellín.

  • Explore Comuna 13 through the perspective of Afro-Colombian guides.

  • Connect with Black university students and community organizations.
