The Economic Empowerment Network is a growing initiative aimed at building a supportive community of Afro-Colombian business owners, creatives, and change-makers. Through this network, we aim to foster collaboration, provide access to resources, and create spaces for education, visibility, and growth. By highlighting and amplifying Afro-Colombian businesses and entrepreneurs, the program supports economic mobility, self-sufficiency, and long-term success within the local community.

The Economic Empowerment Network is designed to provide tangible support for Afro-Colombian entrepreneurs, creatives, and changemakers. Through mentorship, resource sharing, and collaborative opportunities, we aim to foster business growth and economic sustainability within the community.

Origin + Culture is committed to actively supporting Afro-Colombian businesses through intentional partnerships and initiatives that keep resources circulating within the community. Through our work, we prioritize local vendors and Black-owned venues for all of our events, ensuring that our gatherings not only celebrate culture but also directly benefit the people who shape it.

Andaluf – A restaurant bringing the flavors of Chocó to Medellín. Known for its authentic Chocoan cuisine, Andaluf features traditional dishes and beverages like viche, sourced directly from farmers in their region.​
